The act
The voice comes first with Nikki. Twenty years of lead vocal work across Australia and Japan, in hotels, nightclubs, bars and corporate rooms, covering powerful ballads through rock, pop, jazz and blues. There's a cricket story too: singing the West Indies national anthem before the Boxing Day Test at the MCG in 2000, in front of a crowd of 56,000. Cruise ship crowds have had plenty of the same. These days the work also takes in DJ and master of ceremonies sets, so a wedding or a milestone party can run on one booking rather than three. Corporate functions and private events sit comfortably in the same range.
