Oak Acoustic sit in the trio slot, which is often exactly the right size for a function room that wants a real band without giving up half the floor to a stage. Everything is played live, no tracks, and the songs stretch across six decades. There's a slower opening set for arrivals and dinner, with Fall At Your Feet, At Last, Better Together, Tenerife Sea and A Thousand Years, then things pick up as the night goes. They've been working weddings, corporate nights and private parties around Melbourne and regional Victoria for six years. They bring their own PA, which also handles music between sets, and like two hours to set up and soundcheck.

On the day
Two hours before doors is what they'd like for setting up and running a proper soundcheck, so build that into your run sheet if the venue will allow it. They bring a full PA of their own, which doubles as the system playing music between sets, meaning the room never goes quiet while the band is off.
