You’d notice the country storytelling first: Oscar Litchfield is a singer, songwriter and guitarist whose songs come from life on the road, the places he’s seen and the people he’s met. He was raised around agriculture in the NSW Snowy Mountains and now lives in Perth, with WA very much part of the story. For a wedding, that kind of voice and writing makes sense in the ceremony or during canapes, where songs with a bit of heart can land without pushing too hard. He’s also released original music, including Fences, and has spent plenty of time playing live around Australia and touring WA. A country-leaning wedding, or a day that wants sincerity over flash, would suit this nicely.
