The act
Paint The Town Black are a Melbourne wedding and corporate band fronted by two vocalists, one of them Australian Idol talent Lorraine Maneja, with a rhythm section underneath that does the heavy lifting. The repertoire starts in old school soul, funk and Motown, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, then moves through to Black Eyed Peas, Jamiroquai, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga and David Guetta. So a room can start civilised and end up somewhere else entirely. They can also be booked as a nine piece with a professional horn section. Weddings, corporate events, concerts, venues and one-off occasions across Melbourne.
