Formed in 2005, Party Anthem have played more than 600 corporate events and weddings, and the set list reads like the reason people book a cover band in the first place. Dancing Queen, Long Way to the Top, September, I Will Survive, Superstition, Livin' on a Prayer, Nutbush City Limits. Male and female lead vocals mean they can take almost any of it. The band scales from three to five pieces and the usual booking is three 50 minute sets, with acoustic, jazz or electric versions of the set depending on where in the night you are. They bring the full sound and lighting rig plus an engineer, and need one to two hours to set up. Sydney based, working nationally.

What to expect
Party Anthem have been at this since 2005 and have more than 600 corporate events and weddings behind them, which shows in how little fuss there is on the night. Three to five pieces depending on what you book, with male and female vocalists sharing the lead. That matters more than it sounds. It means the set can take Dancing Queen and Livin' on a Prayer without anyone straining, and songs that need a particular voice don't get dropped. Weddings, corporate functions and private parties. The songs are the ones people came to hear.
On the day
Allow one to two hours for the band to get in and set up before the music starts. All sound and lighting equipment comes with them, and so does an engineer to run it, so there's nothing for you to arrange on the technical side. Just the space, the power and the access time.
Performance options
Most bookings land on three sets of 50 minutes. Within that you can choose the flavour: an acoustic set, a jazz set, an electric covers set, or a mix across the night. Plenty of people use the softer options early and save the electric material for after dinner.
