The act
Australian and British songwriting is the backbone of the solo set. Pete Murray, Colin Hay, Crowded House, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Oasis, The Verve, Snow Patrol. The list runs long: Don't Dream It's Over, Better Be Home Soon, Fix You, Chasing Cars, Don't Look Back in Anger, Dumb Things, Everlong, High and Dry. Paul-e Watson has a long history in the entertainment industry, and is currently touring Australia and Asia as a cast member with Wicked. He plays guitar, sings, and works a stomp box, so he needs a PA with three channels and a foldback speaker, though he can bring a full rig himself. Geelong based, and he covers morning melodies and pub rooms as readily as weddings.

On the day
Three channels on the PA, one each for vocals, guitar and stomp box, plus a foldback speaker so Paul-e can hear himself. If your venue hasn't got that, he can bring a complete PA of his own instead. Worth flagging which way you're going when you enquire, since it changes what he loads into the car.
