Paul Fogarty has toured with Arrested Development and opened for Status Quo, Joss Stone, Richard Clapton, Karma County, Nick Barker and the Angelo Kelly Band, and shared festival bills with David Gray and John Fogerty. It's all acoustic. Guitar, piano, lap slide, harmonica and ukulele, and a voice he's not shy about. Expect his own songs, Stagefright, Grind, Blaze, Tombstones, Cripple Street among them, alongside distinctly reworked takes on Bill Withers, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Hank Williams and Ben Harper. Honest, funny in patches, and deep when it wants to be. He's played weddings in Oxford and festivals across Switzerland, Holland, Germany and Belgium. Sunshine Coast based, needs two metres square.

What to expect
Acoustic, and closer to a show than a background set. Paul Fogarty sings his own songs alongside reworked versions of covers that most people have heard done the same way too many times, and he does not leave them where he found them. Jokes land through the night, and the stage presence is real. Oxford has had him at a wedding, Munich at a christening, Sydney at a birthday, and the festival circuit has taken him through Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and Berlin. Two thousand gigs and two thousand written songs sit behind all of it.
Performance options
Sets run 45 minutes. You can book a single power set, two sets, or three across a longer night. He travels from Brisbane, so a booking outside that reach needs travel and accommodation sorted as part of the arrangement.
