Sharōn Brooks fronts it, and the band behind her runs four to six pieces depending on what the room needs. PocketLove have spent over twelve years on the Brisbane circuit playing funk covers, and the interesting part is what they do to the songs: calypso, jazz, soul and Motown influences get folded in, so familiar hits arrive with a different shape. Intricate harmonies, high energy grooves, playful on stage. It's a covers band that doesn't sound like a corporate covers band. Weddings, functions, corporate events and parties around Brisbane.
