The act
Three pieces, midi support underneath, and a sixties to nineties repertoire built around the idea that people want to hear songs they recognise. Radiodaze play Adelaide, and the band has also worked venues in the UK, Europe and the US. Their set includes themed runs and what they call 3-play, three songs in a row from the one band or genre, so a stretch of The Beatles or Split Enz lands together instead of scattered. The journey goes Rolling Stones, The Who and Moody Blues, through Daddy Cool, The Angels, Split Enz and Roxy Music, into INXS, Madness, Elvis Costello and Men at Work, then Matchbox 20, Franz Ferdinand and Coldplay. Solo and duo formats available. Two hours for lug in and sound check, one to pack down.

Good to know
What to expect
Three pieces with midi underneath, which is why the sound is fuller than the head count suggests. Radiodaze have played most styles and most rooms in Adelaide, plus venues in the UK, Europe and the US, and that shows up as a set of radio hits pulled from across the rock and roll era. Sound systems and lighting options come in several sizes to match the room you're putting them in. It's a party set, played by people who know when to change tack.
On the day
Roughly two hours before the first song for lug-in, set-up and sound check, with clear access to the stage or playing area for that whole window. Pack down and lug-out takes about an hour. Outdoor gigs are possible by arrangement, though the band will need suitable cover over the playing area.
