The act
Resignation are a Brisbane rock and roll trio, or a duo if that suits the room better, and there's a saxophone in the mix. Covers run from the 70s to now, which in practice means Pearl Jam next to Fleetwood Mac, Metallica next to The Doors, plus Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Powderfinger, Crowded House, Radiohead and Daryl Braithwaite. The standard show is four hours and can be shortened or stretched to fit. They'll take special requests for weddings, and one of them can MC the event if you'd rather not hand that job to an uncle. Venue gigs and private parties both. Power and a covered spot is all they need.

Good to know
What to expect
A trio by default, with a duo available when the room is smaller, and either way the energy is set high enough to move people onto a dance floor. Four hours is the standard show. Trim it back for a shorter function or run it longer if the night keeps going, that's a conversation rather than a fixed rule. What doesn't change is the pace: this is a band that plays to get a crowd up, not to sit politely in the corner.
