Thirty years of playing, including national and international touring, and Rod Collins can point that experience in two directions. One is a beautiful acoustic soundtrack for a wedding or corporate function. The other is a full one man band that starts a party, built on stompbox, snare, twelve string guitars and a soulful voice. The song list is the singalong canon: Africa, All Star, Another One Bites the Dust, April Sun in Cuba, Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Bad Habits, Better Man, Black Velvet, Bohemian Rhapsody, Bow River, Blinding Lights and a couple of hundred more. Based in Geelong. He supplies PA and lighting, takes requests and dedications, and confirms every detail the week before.

Good to know
What to expect
Rod Collins runs the whole thing so the event goes the way you want it. He brings all his own PA and lighting, which covers both the sound and the look of the space. You get a say in the songs, can ask for particular ones, and can work speeches or dedications into the performance. The week before your event he goes through every detail with you and changes whatever needs changing.
On the day
Very little, as it turns out. Access to power, and around six square metres of floor to play in. Rod Collins covers everything else himself, PA and lighting included, so the venue is not being asked to source equipment or hold space for a large rig. Six square metres fits in the corner of most function rooms.
