Four years of gigging across the Perth music scene covering conferences, corporate functions, restaurants, festivals, weddings and birthdays, playing originals alongside covers, and Rolling Stone Australia has featured the music. The go-to artists tell you the flavour: Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Bill Withers, Sade, Norah Jones, the Bee Gees, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa. So it sits comfortably in soul and jazz territory but goes pop when the night calls for it. Based in Margaret River, available solo or as a duo, and needs an hour before start time and a power outlet.

It's worth watching for that alone. The setlists get chosen for the space she's playing in, so a restaurant sitting and a birthday party don't get the same treatment. Soul and jazz are her natural home, Amy Winehouse, Bill Withers, Sade, and she'll move to pop when the night wants it. Solo or duo, both work.

Most bookings are the solo show, and there's a duo option too, Bella & Bruins, running two 45 minute sets. For weddings she puts together a longer three hour package covering the day: 15 minutes of music before the ceremony starts, chosen songs for the aisle, the signing and the recessional, then straight into the reception or cocktail hour. Couples get sent the repertoire list beforehand, and if there's something not on it that matters to you, Romy will learn up to two new songs and play them wherever in the day you want them. Extra hours can be added on.
