Faure's Pie Jesu, Caccini's Ave Maria, Amazing Grace, and Sarah McLachlan's Angel all sit in the same working repertoire here, which tells you how wide the range runs. Sarah Cherlin sings at funerals and memorials, and at weddings and parties too, with more than 15 years of performing behind the voice. Accompaniment can be piano, guitar or recorded backing, so the music fits the room rather than the other way around. She'll talk the music through with you directly, or deal with the funeral director, celebrant or clergy so nobody has to relay messages on a hard week. Classical one moment, contemporary the next. Based in the Blue Mountains at Wentworth Falls.

Good to know
What to expect
The music gets organised whichever way is easiest for you. Sarah is happy to talk it through with you directly. She will just as readily coordinate with the funeral director, the celebrant or clergy on your behalf, so the timings and the order of songs are settled between the people running the service and nobody has to relay messages back and forth during a difficult week.
Performance options
Three ways to book her. All three include the planning beforehand, sound setup on the day, recorded accompaniment and service time of up to 90 minutes. The base one draws songs from her existing repertoire and places them at the right moments. The middle option adds one special request of your own, any style or genre. The third is a fully custom programme built entirely from songs you choose, familiar or personally meaningful, which she learns and prepares for the service. Live piano accompaniment, with the piano supplied, can be added to any of these.
