Two voices, a guitar and a pair of battery-powered speakers, which means Saskia & Curtis can set up in a paddock, on a clifftop or anywhere else in Perth with no power supply at all. They rework familiar songs as acoustic arrangements built around harmony: Bill Withers, John Legend, Amy Winehouse, Matt Corby, Fleetwood Mac, Crowded House, plenty more. Weddings are their main ground and they'll take the whole day if you want it. Music as guests arrive, the aisle entrances, signing the register, the walk back out, then canapes and a reception with DJ sets and MC duties once dinner is done. They'll also learn one song outside the repertoire for the moment that matters most.

Saskia & Curtis handle weddings mostly, and the acoustic reworkings suit the parts of the day where a full band would be too much. Guests arriving, the aisle, signing the register, the walk back out. Later on it can lift into something with more push behind it. The pair take pride in reshaping familiar material rather than copying the record, so a song your guests have heard a thousand times lands a bit differently in the room.
On the day
Their two speakers run on batteries. That means a paddock, a clifftop, a beach or a backyard with the nearest power point a hundred metres away are all fine, and you don't need to organise a generator or run leads across a lawn. All they need is somewhere to stand and enough space for two performers and their gear. Worth remembering if you've fallen for a ceremony spot that has a view and nothing else.
Performance options
The ceremony option covers about twenty five minutes of music while guests arrive, then the aisle entrances, the register signing and the exit, with one song outside their usual repertoire learned for you. Around an hour and a half all up. Add canapes and you get another hour of live music while the photos happen, roughly three hours. The reception option runs up to three hours of live music across entrees and mains, music for the formalities, DJ sets for the dance floor and MC duties, about six hours. The full day joins the lot together, up to nine hours with as much as four of that live, and two learned song requests placed wherever you want them.
