An acoustic guitar, a pack of harmonicas and a kick drum stomp box for the beat. Sean Dunlop started out playing pub rock covers as a teenager, spent his twenties writing, recording and touring Australia with bands, and for the past decade has put all of it into a solo covers act. The sets open relaxed and bluesy with classics from every era, then build into foot stomping singalongs. Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Cold Chisel, INXS, Johnny Cash, Amy Winehouse and The Killers all turn up. He'll fit the setup and playing times around your run sheet, and requests are fine if you book ahead. Sydney based. Needs one power point, a couple of metres of flat ground, and a plan if it rains.

Good to know
What to expect
A guitar, a fistful of harmonicas, and a stomp box doing the work of a drummer. Sean Dunlop opens relaxed and bluesy with classics pulled from every era, then winds it up into the foot stomping singalongs that get people out of their chairs. The setup and the playing times bend around your schedule rather than the other way round, so speeches and dinner don't have to be worked around a fixed set. Book far enough ahead and you can put in a song request or two and have them ready on the night.
On the day
One power point, and two to three square metres of flat ground to stand on. That's genuinely it for an indoor booking. Outdoors, have a wet weather plan sorted before the day, because a guitar, a stomp box and rain don't mix and it's much easier to decide the backup spot in advance than to find one while guests are arriving.
Performance options
One quote covers the lot. Sound and production are in there, the lighting rig too, along with the rehearsal that goes in before the gig and the ongoing upkeep of the equipment he plays through. So the figure you get back is the figure, not a starting point that grows once the extras are counted. Travel outside the usual patch and one off special events are handled separately, so give Sean the date, the place and what you have in mind and he will work out the quote from there.
