Sean K is a Canadian-born musician working in Victoria, and the sound is stripped back and soulful rather than polished pop. The format suits a wedding well: acoustic playing through the ceremony and canapes, then a DJ set later once people want to dance. Song choices for the DJ half get built around the couple rather than pulled off a standard list. One person covering both halves of the night, which keeps the handover between them smooth.
