Aretha, Dusty, Whitney, Adele, Dua Lipa. The Diva Song Book runs through the big female voices of the last sixty years, fronted by Gold Coast singer Stephanie Lazaro. Set one leans on the timeless soul and pop side, with Natural Woman, Chain of Fools and Son of a Preacher Man. Set two turns it up: Rolling in the Deep, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Lady Marmalade. The show scales to fit the room, from a soloist with backing tracks through to a full band, and sound and lighting come with it. Song choices get worked out with you beforehand. Weddings, corporate nights and milestone parties are the usual bookings, and the act carries public liability cover.

Good to know
What to expect
Stephanie and the musicians arrive an hour or more ahead of you needing them, set up, and get out of the way. Sound and lighting are theirs, and there's a microphone available if speeches are happening. The show gets built to your run sheet, so a ceremony, a canape hour and a corporate dinner each get treated differently rather than getting the same block of music. Song choices are settled with you in advance, special requests included. The repertoire runs from the old soul standards through to what's charting.
On the day
Cover overhead for the performers and the gear, because sun, rain and wind all end a show early. A reliable power outlet near where they're playing, or extension leads if it's a walk away. Floor space sized to whichever line-up you've booked, from soloist through to full band, with room for instruments and stands. Send a run sheet through and let them know about any noise limits or a venue curfew, so the finish time is planned rather than discovered.
Performance options
Solo, duo, trio or quartet, and full band. The soloist sings to high quality backing tracks, up to two 45 minute sets, and suits a ceremony or canapes. The duo adds live guitar or keys behind the vocal, up to three sets. Trio and quartet fill the sound out and cover soft background playing through to something with more push, also up to three sets. Full band runs up to four sets and comes with the complete PA, lighting and a speeches mic. There's a ceremony-only booking with a soloist or duo, including a song of your choosing for the walk down the aisle, and a reception party booking with a trio or full band for the dancing end of the night. Longer playing times, extra lighting and songs from outside the setlist can all be added.
