An acoustic and bass duo who play The Rocks every weekend, with regular short runs out into rural New South Wales. The covers lean country and rock and roll: Creedence, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Paul Kelly, John Mellencamp, Ben Harper, Bruce Springsteen, and a stack of 50s and 60s dance tunes. They also have two albums of their own songs, recorded with Bill Chambers, and a few of those slip into the set when the room suits it. The standard shape is three 45 minute sets across three hours, though two longer sets often holds attention better. They're not a loud band, but they can lift it for dancers. The whole rig runs off one power point and fits in a corner. Sydney based. Insured.

They start when they said they would and play the hours you asked for. Three 45 minute sets across three hours is the usual shape, though two sets of an hour and a quarter often holds a room better, and that's worth a conversation. There's a bit of back and forth with the audience through the night. The job as they see it is keeping people in their seats or up dancing, and the set gets steered towards whichever one is happening.
One 240 volt outlet runs the entire rig. Space is barely an issue either, since a corner does the job, though a stage is nicer when there's one going. All the gear is theirs. It's about as low maintenance as live music gets.
