Sunny V And All That Jazz is a three to five piece working the mainstream jazz and popular standards catalogue, drawing on Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Anita O'Day, Gershwin, Jobim, Richard Rodgers and Cole Porter. Sunny Vicars started out professionally in the Melbourne big-band scene and is now a small-group singer with real clarity and phrasing, playing regularly at the Brisbane Jazz Club, Doo Bop Bar and the Toowoomba Jazz Society. The rest of the band have come up through everything from big bands to tight little combos, and it shows in how quickly they settle a room.
