There are two shows under one banner here, both on the Sunshine Coast. Super Trouper is an eight piece ABBA tribute in authentic costume with faithful choreography and full production, and the backing vocalists also take on Olivia Newton-John, Cher, Helen Reddy and Neil Diamond along the way. The Doo Wop Dolls cover the forties through to the eighties: Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, In The Mood, Sway, Be My Baby, Proud Mary, plus Christmas classics. Both shows go looking for the audience rather than performing at them, so expect singing along. The Dolls fit into three metres square, the ABBA band needs six by four, and bump-in is two to three hours depending on which show you book. Insured.

The Doo Wop Dolls fit into three metres by three and want two hours before showtime to bump in. Note they don't bring lighting for that one. Super Trouper is the bigger job: six metres by four for the band, and three hours or more of bump-in time. Either way, a dressing room with a mirror and a bathroom nearby makes a real difference given the costume changes involved.
