Supersoul is built out of some of the busiest players in Melbourne, and the whole thing is aimed at getting people up. Funk, pop and party anthems, old and new, played with the sort of showmanship that carries a room. Line-ups run from six pieces up to eight, with drums, bass, keys, guitar and vocals as the core. Add the brass section if the budget stretches, because the horns are what turn a good night into a loud one.
