The act
Solo, duo or trio, plus DJ and MC, so one booking can cover a whole wedding day. Taylor Piggott plays Melbourne and works a looper into the live sets, which means the sound can sit relaxed during canapes and lift for the reception. Music keeps running on the breaks, from a prepared playlist or one you send through. The DJ setup includes a white booth that photographs well, wireless mic and lighting. Key songs for the ceremony get learned ahead of time. The set list is a mix of old and new, and the full one is available on request. Early arrival, quick setup and pack down. Needs a 3x3m stage area and a power point, or a dry covered spot if rain is likely. Insured.

Good to know
What to expect
Taylor arrives early and gets set up without fuss, then packs down the same way. A looper sits at the heart of the live playing, which is how one musician moves a room from relaxed to upbeat without changing acts. Music keeps going through the breaks, either from his own playlist or one you've put together yourself. DJ and MC work can be added, and that comes with a sleek white DJ booth that looks right in most venues, a wireless mic and DJ lighting. Turns up on time, dressed for the occasion, and brings energy to the room.
On the day
A stage area of three metres by three, and a wall power point, unless you've specifically booked a battery powered set. Outdoors with rain on the forecast? Then you'll need to organise a covered spot with dry ground underfoot before the PA can go up, because that's not a decision to make while the clouds are already over the paddock.
Performance options
Three wedding options. Ceremony on its own covers three key songs learned for you, the walk down the aisle, the signing and the exit, with more available if you want them. Ceremony plus canapes adds one or two sets while photos are happening and guests are mingling, usually 45 minutes played to a 15 minute break. The full option carries the reception too, either performed live or as a DJ set, with multiple music and party sets, and Taylor works with your MC to cue the bridal entrance, cake cutting, first dance and final song. That one includes the DJ booth, wireless mic and lights. MC services and a haze machine can be added, and duo arrangements depend on availability.
