The act
Warm female vocals over dreamy acoustic guitar, covering the old, the new and everything sitting in between. Teasha & Mari are a Newcastle duo, both music graduates of the University of Newcastle, and they've played enough shows to know when a set should stay stripped back and when it should lift. Sets run in 45 to 50 minute slots and you can pick which ones you want, so a three hour booking is built from the blocks that suit your night. Requests are welcome with enough notice, and there's break music between sets if you need the room to stay filled. Load-in is quick. Power points and cover if the weather looks dodgy is all they ask for.

What to expect
Both halves of Teasha & Mari came out of the University of Newcastle with music degrees, and they've played enough shows since that the theory has been well and truly beaten into practice. There's a structured setlist ready to go, so you're not gambling on what they'll play. Requests are fine as long as you give them decent notice to work the song up properly. Load-in is quick and they're playing as soon as you give the nod. If the gaps between sets bother you, they'll run break music so the room doesn't go quiet.
On the day
Power points, and cover overhead if the forecast looks doubtful. Nothing else is asked for. Everything from the PA to the instruments comes with them, and they handle their own setup and pack down.
