The act
Roger Davy began as a boy soprano, sang as a Young Artist with Opera Queensland, covered major understudy roles with Opera Australia, and later became a driving force behind The Ten Tenors. Since returning from the UK and Europe he's built a corporate and private performance career around classical crossover, Broadway and Bublé. The tribute show is called Pavarotti Forever. Then there's The Roving Opera Guy, where Roger turns up as a waiter, a chef, an MC or a security guard before the voice gives the game away. He's known across Australia and Asia as the original Singing Waiter. Needs a PA, a sound check and a wireless microphone, with backing tracks and an operator where required. Insured.

What to expect
The Roving Opera Guy works by surprise. Roger appears in disguise, as the chef, the MC, a security guard, event staff, or even one of your own guests, and then starts singing. The repertoire runs from Buble to Broadway and on to timeless classics and the finest of Pavarotti, chosen to fit the style and theme of what you're holding. He's known across Australia and Asia as the original Singing Waiter, and his tribute show Pavarotti Forever has a following of its own. Weddings, gala dinners, corporate events and birthdays all suit it. A song dedication can be arranged as well, for a new spouse, a parents' anniversary or another family moment worth marking.
On the day
A PA and a wireless microphone are needed, along with time for a sound check on the day. Backing tracks are used in the show, and an operator can be brought in for them if the booking calls for it.
