The BB Duo were very professional. The band called prior to the night to understand what we were after, playing location etc. As agreed they arrived ahead of time to set up.They have extensive musical equipment and they played really well, the songs we expected. They are easy going and adjusted themselves to the night. So all in all I would recommend them for similar functions. Thanks Thanks Joe and Vicki REVIEWS
Tim and Maggie
The act
Tim and Maggie built their set around the songs Baby Boomers grew up on. Bee Gees, Eagles, Creedence, Abba, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Daddy Cool and plenty more, sung in harmony over mandolin, acoustic, electric and bass guitars played live with studio-quality backing tracks. They're a natural fit for dinner dances, 60th, 70th and 80th birthdays, over-50s resorts and themed nights. For a small gathering they bring a compact PA and keep things easy; for a formal evening they move from elegant instrumental dinner music into the songs that fill a dance floor. They ask for an indoor space with flat access for their trolleys, and all their gear is tagged, tested and insured.

Good to know
On the day
Tim and Maggie need an indoor performance space, fully protected from the weather, with flat access from where they can park. That second part matters more than most bands would bother mentioning it: they move their gear on flatbed trolleys, so a set of stairs or a gravel path turns a straightforward load-in into a long one. All their equipment is tagged and tested. And they'd appreciate a meal for the band on longer bookings.
Performance options
Three ways this plays out, depending on your event. For a small gathering they bring a compact PA and stick to easy listening, enough to give the room some atmosphere without anyone raising their voice. For a formal evening they start with elegant instrumental dinner music, then move into the dance songs once the plates are cleared. And for a themed night they go straight at the Baby Boomer material: Bee Gees, Eagles, Creedence, Abba, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Daddy Cool. Harmonies over mandolin, acoustic, electric and bass, played live.
