Sydney has plenty of cover bands. Big bands with horn sections and two lead singers are rarer, and The Big Band Theory has been doing it since 2012. The core show is uptempo dance and party material played by working Sydney musicians. Beyond that, they build full themed productions: Michael Buble and a Christmas version of the same, Frank Sinatra, a Buble meets Sinatra double, The Vegas Pack, a James Bond show called Licence to Thrill, Whitney Houston on her own or paired with George Michael, and a Lionel Richie and Diana Ross show. Suits corporate nights, weddings, concerts, festivals and themed events.
