Lukas Murphy, Pippa Lester and Tom Greble formed The Foothills Trio during a lockdown, playing to keep people at home in decent spirits, and kept going once the doors opened again. Three part harmony is the heart of it. They cover artists like Jason Isbell, Lianne La Havas and Tame Impala, all bent towards folk, and mix in originals they've written themselves. Expect love songs that land, stories between tunes, and versions of familiar songs that don't sound like the record.
