The act
The Groove Band have been working Sydney and well beyond it for years now, playing corporate events, pubs, clubs and cruise ships. Their repertoire runs wide across eras and styles, and the stage energy is relaxed rather than showy, which is exactly what most function rooms want. What sets them apart is scale. Because they draw on a large network of players, the same booking can be a duo in a corner or a full big band, and instrument preferences can usually be accommodated. So if you know you want a saxophone or you'd rather keep it acoustic, say so early and they'll build the line-up around it.
