The act
Cabaret served like a cocktail list. The Mini Marilyn plays bartender and hostess through a set of numbers made famous by female artists across the decades, sliding between vintage Hollywood glamour and modern pop depending on what your event is dressed as. The modern sets take in Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, the Spice Girls, Lady Gaga and Meghan Trainor. The smaller version is voice plus keyboard accompanist across two or three twenty minute sets. The larger one adds ensemble dancers and fills a stage. Songs, costumes, props, headset mic and the accompanist all come with the act. You'll need a performance space, a decent vocal PA and somewhere to change. Sydney based, and insured.

What to expect
The conceit is a cocktail list. The Mini Marilyn plays bartender and hostess, and each number is a drink the audience gets to taste, all of them made famous by female singers across a spread of decades and styles. Vintage Hollywood one moment, Kylie or Lady Gaga the next, weighted whichever way your event is dressed. Tap dancing gets worked in where the floor allows it. She'll host and MC as well, or work the room as a roaming meet and greet, so it can be the feature act or the thread running through the whole night.
On the day
Everything performance-related arrives with the act: songs, costumes, props, the headset microphone with its bodypack and receiver, the accompanist and their keyboard, and the backing dancers where the larger show has been booked. From your end there are three things. A suitable performance space, ideally a raised stage. A PA good enough for vocals, not just background music. And a small room or screened area to use as a dressing room.
Performance options
Two versions, and the difference is scale. The smaller one is Mini Marilyn singing live with a keyboard accompanist, running two or three 20 minute sets of the modern material: Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Spice Girls, Lady Gaga, Meghan Trainor. The bigger one adds ensemble dancers for a full stage show, an hour straight through or three 20 minute sets, and brings in the vintage numbers as well, Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee. Tap dancing can go into either, depending on the flooring. Hosting and MC duties, or roaming meet and greets, can be added on top. Both versions get customised around your event.
