The Rock Stella Project work the Sunshine Coast with a straightforward brief: play the classics, old and new, and play them hard enough that the room stops chatting. Rock and roll is the backbone. They cover corporate nights, parties, weddings and dance floors that need a shove, and the show is built around energy rather than subtlety. So if you're after a band for background music while people eat, this probably isn't it. If you want the hair down by the second set, it is.
