Formed in Perth in 2018, The Scene are five players from different generations of the local industry, which is part of why the song list keeps growing. Pop rock is the base, with punchy keys, guitar and bass under high-energy vocals. Boys In Town, Rehab, Valerie, Nutbush City Limits, Lonely Boy, Dancing Queen, You Oughta Know. They travel with professional sound, a sound engineer and their own lighting, so a bare room is no problem and a stage is a bonus rather than a requirement. The Scene aim squarely at the dance floor, and they carry their own high quality sound rig with an engineer running it, plus lighting to match. Nothing about the night is left to whatever the venue happens to own. Expect the energy up early and held there, with the sort of songs a crowd joins in on without being asked twice.
Very little falls to you. Sound, audio and lighting are all part of what the band arrives with, which covers the technical side of the show completely. A stage is welcome if the room has one, though the band play just as happily on the floor when it does not.
