Saxophone, guitar and contrabass, drawing on Sidney Bechet and Django Reinhardt alongside newer jazz. Simon Charles, Jeffery Harold and Leon Pratt make up the usual trio, and a second guitarist can turn it into a manouche quartet or a two guitar and double bass line-up. Solo through to quintet is possible too. The players have worked around Australia and overseas with various ensembles. What you get on the night is jazz standards and gypsy jazz chosen as the room goes, rather than a fixed running order. Perth based, carrying public liability cover, and they can bring a small PA. Power is the only real requirement.
