The Wipeouts do 1960s properly, covering both sides of the surf sound: the Beach Boys harmonies and the instrumental side with Wipeout and Pipeline. From there the show opens out across the whole decade, taking in pop, power pop, hippy folk, protest songs, psychedelia and the heavier end. Over a hundred songs sit in the repertoire, including Surfin' USA, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Satisfaction, A Hard Day's Night, Magic Carpet Ride and Bus Stop. It's an interactive show, not a background one. Melbourne based, with their own PA and a generator if you want them on a beach.

Power for the guitars and drums in most situations, and that's about it, since the PA is theirs. But if you're putting them somewhere with no power at all, a beach for instance, they can bring a generator and solve it themselves.
Book them by the set, and the song count is the useful measure. Two sets covers roughly thirty numbers from the sixties repertoire. Go to three and you are into the mid forties, which is enough to move through the surf material, the pop, the folkier protest songs and the heavier psychedelic end without repeating anything. Longer bookings simply mean more of the decade gets played.
