John Garvin and Trevor Anthony have been doing this since 2010, and they average more than a hundred shows a year. Two Man Banned is two players making a full band noise, live and unpolished by design, with a long list of classics they'll trim or swap to suit a venue. John came to it from London's West End, where he played the lead in the original production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. At a wedding they'll do the acoustic thing for the ceremony and then change gear entirely once the reception gets going. Give them four square metres, power and a bit of shade and they'll sort the rest. Third party cover is in place.

John Garvin and Trevor Anthony play it live, raw and real, which is the whole point of the act. Two musicians using a wide range of sound equipment to build one big band noise, working through a repertoire of high-octane classics. The set list gets cut to fit the client and the venue, so it arrives shaped for your night rather than dropped in whole. What they enjoy most is the back and forth with an audience, taking that energy and turning it into the night.
Performance options
Wedding entertainment is put together to order rather than picked from a menu. For the ceremony, ballads you choose arranged for acoustic guitar as guests arrive, a song of your choosing as the bride walks down the aisle, and music through the signing and the photographs. At the reception they'll play you in as a married couple, provide background music through the meal, and hand over their Bose PA for announcements and speeches, or run your own playlist instead. First dance songs are learned and arranged specially, quiet, celebratory or close to the original as you prefer.
