The act
Book Voodoo and you get the same five people every time. That sounds minor until you have seen a band turn up with three substitutes. This Melbourne five piece covers a wide stretch of ground, from a tender bridal waltz to Aussie pub rock, chart dance tracks, 70s disco, 80s pop and 60s rock and roll. Weddings and corporate events are their main work, and the fixed line up means what you hear at a showcase is what turns up on the night.

To all the would-be-couples out there looking for a Wedding Band, I highly recommend Voodoo. Professional, fun, you can cram them into a tiny little corner at your reception and they can also provide you with a great MC if all your mates chicken out like ours did! We had these guys at our wedding and they had pretty much everyone dancing. They’ve got a great selection of songs and if you give enough notice, they’ll even do requests for you. A little avant-garde but we got them to perform “Ballpark Musical – I-Fly” for us and it was an absolute riot! Can’t stress enough how good these guys are and if you want a real wedding band that’s got personality, and not some lifeless DJ with two decks, a bunch of cd’s and no personality, then this is the way to go!
