Philippine born and now based in the South West of Western Australia, Zai is a singer, songwriter and stage actor with a big, soulful voice. Before Bunbury there were years at sea, performing on luxury cruise ships out of the United States and playing to thousands of guests a week across the Bahamas, the Cayman and Caribbean Islands and Mexico. The set list reaches back to Carole King, Karen Carpenter, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin, then forward through Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette and Fleetwood Mac. Books as a solo artist, a duo or a full band. Fully self contained with a professional PA for rooms up to about 150 people, needing one 10 amp circuit, and shade if the gig is outdoors in daylight. If you're outdoors during daylight, shade over the performance area is needed, not just preferred.
