Pianists: what couples ask
Practical answers about pricing, timing and what to confirm before you book.
Does the venue need a piano?
Most pianists bring a stage piano and small PA, so no. If the venue has a grand piano, they will usually play it; ask whether it is tuned.
What does a wedding pianist cost?
Ceremony and cocktail bookings commonly fall between about $700 and $2,000; singing pianists and longer evenings cost more.
